Slumdog Milionaire

Last week I had a lot of free time. I spent the days with my family and my boyfriend. It was really nice time. At Friday we watched a great movie „Slumdog Milionaire”. It’s a story of a young, Indian man who takes part in a famous show „Who wants to be a milionaire?” We meet this man when he’s a little boy, his life isn’t easy. He and his brother lost their mother and they were forced to grow up without parents. In this movie we can see a way this young man overcame to be with a girl he has fallen in love with many years ago. The man wins the huge amount of money and the police thinks he’s a cheater, but he proves that he knew the answers, because he saw a lot in his life. I think it’s a beautiful story which shows how brutal  life is and how strong we can be. Moreover we can see how difficult is life in India.

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs

You may think that’s weird, but I really like to watch animated films. Sometimes I watch the same film few times. Recently I have watched film titled „Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs”. I had seen this movie once before, but I wanted to see it again. This animation is about a man who wants to be a scientist. As he was a  child he started  inventing different things, but without success. Finally he invented a machine which produces food, because in his town the people eat only sardines. The main character is satisfied because he’s famous and the citizens are happy because eventually  they can eat whatever they want, because food fall from the sky at will. The town has changed and the life became colorfull, but requirements of citizens were increasing, they wanted more and more and finally the invention began to go crazy. The food was bigger and bigger and achive unnatural size. The scientist must  have intervened and the citizens must have  run away because food destroyed their town. At the end the town is safe because the main character has destroyed his machine. We can see that we must be carefull and we can’t exaggerate, because our greed can destroy everything. I really recommend this animated film to everyone. I think that can be a really important lesson for us.

Summer come back!

I really hate when it’s cold outside. I’m sad bacause winter is coming. I have been sick for a week and I really miss summer, I love when the sun shines, when I can eat a lot of ice craem, when I can swim and sunbathe, when I can spend time with my boyfriend and my family in the garden, when birds sing, when everything is green and when sun goes down tardily. The only things I like in winter are Christmas, hot tea, warm blankets and evenings with series or books. I hate when I have to wear warm clothes and I’m still cold, when I’m ill, when everything is frozen and when there is no sun. It’s so depressing! Now I’m dreaming about holidays in warm country. I think about the time at the sea with the people I love, about cold drinks and the walks at sunset. Unfortunately I have no time for vacations now, because I have to study. I hope this winter will be mild and spring will come soon.

First step into the World

I went to Naples with my boyfriend a couple of months ago. We arrived on Tuesday and we stayed for five days. We were really excited because it was our first travel abroad. We flew by plane for the first time and the views from the plane were wonderful. When we arrived I was very surprised because the city is very impure, there’s a lot of trash on the road. Anyway, we were so happy, because the weather was beautiful. We visited the city, watched the monuments and saw the volcano – Vesuvius. Moreover we visited the ancient city – Herculaneum. Last but not least we were eating delicious dishes, for instance pasta and original neapolitan pizza. I love Italian cuisine and I think that Italians make the best pizza in the world! The last day was rainy and we spent a lot of time on the airport. Anyway, our travel was very interesting and now we plan another travel, but we don’t know yet where should we go. We want to organize cheap trip in November or December to Odesa in Ukraine. Perhaps we could make 1-day trip to Chisinau, becasue the capitol of Moldova is close to Odesa. I hope we will spend a good time in foreign land.
